MAKING A GOOD LIBRARY SYSTEM GREAT
Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2002 to enable individuals and organizations to invest in the exceptional work of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and enhance the quality and range of library services available to District residents beyond the level possible with public funds alone. Las Vegas-Clark County Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 Nevada non-profit corporation. Tax I.D. # 27-0035192.
|
To date, the Foundation has attracted support from more than 900 individuals. The Foundation is a major advocate for the library, working to promote greater awareness of its many valuable services.
The Library District´s basic services - staff, building and equipment maintenance, and core collections - are supported by public funding. What is often not covered are those programs, resources, and activities that help make the Library more than a "building with books."
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Foundation needs your help to develop an annually renewing, stable source of revenue to support the kinds of programs and services patrons have come to expect from their award-winning library system. |
